With the help of Toy Bank logistics partner, K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, the following charities will benefit from this donation:

·                 Huntington Area Food Bank (West Virginia), which works to alleviate hunger and serves more than 110,000 individuals through 200 member agencies.

·                 New Threads of Hope (Wisconsin), whose mission is to provide brand-new apparel, footwear, bed and bath, and household items to non-profit agencies serving the needs of the poor, the ill, children and seniors.

·                 First United Presbyterian Church (Ohio), based in Alliance, the church reaches out to the local community through a variety of missions, including the Adopt-a-Child Christmas Ministry, Kids Clothing Ministry, Christmas Day Dinner, and more.

“We learned of the Toy Bank as members of the Toy Industry Association. We were happy to find a partner that would simplify the logistics of donating and allow our product to go to so many worthy causes,” said Kama Morrison, Director of Operations, MasterPieces Puzzle Company. “We love seeing pictures of all the kids who are excited to be receiving the gift of our puzzles.”

“The Toy Industry Foundation is pleased to make play possible for children in need with MasterPieces Puzzle Company by our side,” said Jean Butler, TIF Executive Director.  “Their generous gift to the Toy Bank represents their caring spirit, and we are proud to include them as part of The Toy Bank team.”

The Toy Bank is generously stocked by manufacturers, retailers and distributors to introduce the “tools” of play to children in need. In general, the playthings are distributed to foster kids who have nothing of their own; sent to children living on U.S. military bases; and distributed through The Toy Bank’s network of 1,000 charities across the nation and around the world that serve children who are ill, impoverished, affected by natural disasters, or living through many other stressful situations.

The Toy Industry Foundation’s 2014 Summer Toy Drive is ongoing through August 31^st.
